Sandhills Licenses in Nebraska are valid for either a mule deer or a whitetail deer, both are plentiful. In our area, approximately 55% of the deer are whitetails and 45% mule deer on an average year. The hunt is determined by the hunter’s preference.

Firearm hunts, which have been 100% thus far, are guided. Archery hunts are semi-guided.
