V bar V Outfitters began as a
family adventure based on the fact that hunting has been a hobby for years
that is better spent with friends/family.
We are located in the “Heart of the Sandhills” on family owned ranches. These are cow/calf operations with a strong emphasis on wildlife management. There are thousands of acres involved which allow us to offer a hunter per acre ratio of 1:5000 plus. The land itself is mainly wide open spaces traced by ranges of hills and the Dismal River. It’s a 35 mile jaunt to the local grocery, gas station, bar, and post office. Our best hunting ground ranges from grass-covered sand dunes to several alfalfa pivots with trees few and far between.
Hunting packages are based on the hunter. There are hunts for coyote, deer, and upland birds. Packages are available for groups, youth, and one-on-one hunts.
If you hunt with us one year, then you have first option, till January 5th of the following year to pay your deposit if you would like to hunt the following season.

around the world. They have been on hunts from Grizzlies in Alaska, Bighorns
in British Columbia to Cape Buffalo in Africa. We get to hear stories of
hunts that amaze us. Stories that we will never forget and hunts we may or
may not be blessed of going on. For us to see the smile on a clients/friends
